With the announcement of lacrosse as an Olympic sport beginning in 2028, the sixes format is entering even further into the spotlight as the future of lacrosse. More than ever, this lacrosse format offers skills that can diversify a player’s potential and offer future opportunity for development.

BC Sixes is excited to be at the forefront of growing this version of the sport of lacrosse here in British Columbia and we are thrilled to share that our next tournament, The BC Sixes West Coast Invitational, will take place at the University of Victoria on April 13th and 14th, 2024. This is our first event on Vancouver Island and the opportunity to grow the game in a new community is exactly what BC Sixes was created to do.

Beginning on January 15th, 2024, we will accept applications for teams only in both women’s and men’s U15, U17, U19, and 19+ divisions. Applications will be open through February 15th with invitation letters being sent shortly after. Each division is limited to just four teams. Each team of twelve players will be guaranteed four games and receive a set of custom jerseys and shorts.
