Pacific Rim Field Lacrosse would like to congratulate this years’ recipient of the BCLA Spirit Award, Jade McGee.

Jade is a huge supporter of Pacific Rim Field Lacrosse and works well with all age groups of players within the association. For years Jade has made himself available to help in a number of different age divisions and tiered levels, to teach the game of lacrosse and make it exciting for youth again.

With relaxing restrictions over the course of the 2021/2022 season, Jade made himself available to not just one team, but to 4 teams with Pacific Rim. He was out on the field 3-4 days a week coaching the kids and assisting other coaches.

The amount of time, energy and enthusiasm Jade puts in to coaching our young athletes is second to none; and he even throws in a team sponsorship to boot!

This is why we nominated Jade McGee as this years’ Spirit Award recipient from Pacific Rim Field Lacrosse.

Christmas Message From The Executive:

We would like to begin by wishing everyone connected with the Pacific Rim Field Lacrosse Association a very Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year.

We can certainly look forward to 2022 with great hope after what has been a very positive and enjoyable first half of the season during this pandemic for the club both on and off the field.

We would like to thank the whole association and our volunteer supporters for their backing throughout the season so far and we hope that they are proud of the association and everyone’s efforts to date.

The strides made by the association in such a short space of time are testament to the work being done by everyone on and off the field. Without your support we would not have been able to make this progress.

We also issue a massive thank you to all our facilities providers (UVIC, SD#63, Esquimalt Recreation and the Municipality of Central Saanich) as without you, we would not be able to offer the services we do across the Southern Island. Also to our apparel and equipment suppliers (X-treme Threads, Out of the Blue Designs and ProJoy), your great products and impeccable products and service are greatly appreciated and keep Pacific Rim looking awesome and well equipped!

A very Merry Christmas to all our executive members, team staff, players (from our Under 11’s up to our Under 18’s) and parents – there is no doubt the kids will be looking forward to the arrival of the big man on Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2022 to all.

It is with great sadness that Pacific Rim needs to share that Gordon Lee (Gordon Lee Photography) passed away this weekend.
Gordon has been a staple in the sporting community for decades. He has taken action and team photos for a variety of sports and events for years.
He has photographed our kids since our association inception.
Our deepest condolences to his family.
